Questions from Ally Bean’s post: In Which I Answer Five Brilliant Questions, Outstandingly
Q1 – What’s your favorite movie?
Not a great fan of the visual medium. I gravitate towards humour, my all-time favourite being panchathanthiram. I like period movies too, and in that genre, I would name Hey Ram and Detective Byomkesh Bakshy. Midnight in Paris is our family’s comfort watch, along with David Suchet starrer Poirot.
Q2 – When trying to buy shoes, what’s your biggest problem?
Price. I find shoes always overpriced. But then I am cheap.
Q3 – Ice cream cone or cupcake?
Hands down cone. Love the waffle cones.
Q4 – What’s one good thing you have learned about yourself during this pandemic?
That I don’t handle adversities very well. I have always known it, and the pandemic confirmed it.
Q5 – Any eccentric people in your family? Discuss.
I forget whose quote it is, but “nobody’s normal” is the ultimate truth.
Thanks for answering the questions and linking to my post.
I’m not much into movies either, so it figures that I wouldn’t know any of the ones you list. I agree about the price of shoes. I just bought some walking shoes and experienced sticker shock. That’s how that question came about. We all handle adversity differently and from what I can tell that’s part of the reason why so many of us [all of us?] are eccentric. 😉

Movies: Too many to list, and constantly changing – despite most of my choices being from the 30s, 40s, or 80s.
Shoes: No handy/nearby shoe stores, I don’t go to malls, online sizing is unpredictable. And I like pretty heeled shoes but my knees no longer let me wear them.
IceCream/Cupcake: My instinct is ice cream but I’ve been on a cupcake binge for awhile.
Pandemic Learning: I LOVE working at home.
Eccentrics: WP is my family so that answers itself. If I still had an IRL family, I’d def be the eccentric one!
